The Level 3 Community Health and Wellbeing Apprenticeship directly supports the Government’s ‘Fit for the Future: 10 Year Health Plan for England’, which prioritises a shift from hospital-based care to community centred, preventative approaches.
Why was this communication toolkit created?
It is recognised that the 'Community Health and Wellbeing Worker' title does not fully reflect the standard’s suitability for many roles. This apprenticeship supports a wide range of new and existing positions that improve health in our neighbourhoods, with a clear focus on prevention and tackling health inequalities.
