The Yorkshire and the Humber Transport and Health Conference was set up to:

  • Explore the links between transport and health, recognising the co-benefits of working together to improve accessibility and increase physical activity.
  • Share examples of good practice, locally and nationally
  • Recognise and explore the challenges that transport and health face in working together
  • Develop skills and tools to increase engagement across the transport, health, planning and political spectrum
  • Develop new and partnerships to work more effectively together in the future
